Breaking the Cycle of Poverty
Providing food for her family and paying her son’s school fees had become an overwhelming challenge for Alice. Despite working hard, financial hardship made it difficult to keep up with her family’s daily needs.
Through Love INC Kenya, volunteers and partner churches provided counseling, encouragement, and clothing as start-up capital to help Alice launch a second-hand clothing business. As her business grew, volunteers continued walking alongside her, helping replenish her stock, allowing her to build a stable source of income.
Alice continues running her business with the support of a community that believed in her potential from the beginning. Her son has successfully completed his KCSE examinations, and she proudly refers to him as the “son of Love INC.”
