Love In the Name of Christ does not help people in need.
Love INC helps churches to help people in need.
This distinction is important because the Church (your church) has a unique calling to offer help to people with spiritual, relational, emotional, physical, financial, and material needs in the Name of Christ. And the truth is, because of Christ, your church can offer help in ways that no ‘organization’ can possibly duplicate.
The role of Love INC is simply to make it easier for your church to do the work of the Church

Steps to Church Partnership
Love INC and the Church work together to meet the needs of people within the congregation and of those who come through the Church door. We offer resources to train the Church on the Redemptive Compassion philosophy, how to refer people in need to Love INC, and our cooperative roles in ongoing partnerships as we walk alongside people seeking assistance and life-change.
Next steps
- When exploring a church partnership, we recommend that Love INC be given several opportunities to present its ministry to different specific groups within a church. At least one meeting should be with the Church leadership and pastors.
- Once a Church decides to partner with Love INC, a Love INC Day, often a Sunday, will be scheduled by the Church. On the selected day, a Love INC representative gives a 10-15 minute presentation to the whole congregation. In addition to the presentation, potential volunteers are given an opportunity to fill out a “Volunteer Sign-Up sheet”, indicating interest in areas they’d like to give.
- As a formal partnership between Love INC and the church is established, the church selects and Love INC trains a point person called a Church Ministry Coordinator (CMC). The CMC serves as the liaison between the church and Love INC for ongoing communication and the service opportunities within the church.
- Partnering churches show ongoing support and partnership by investing financially in Love INC – preferably a monthly contribution and/or a love offering conducted once a year.
Church partners are also willing to conduct product drives, encourage ongoing volunteer support, and allow a Love INC update to the congregation at least once a year
