A Widow’s New Beginning
After losing her husband, Monica was left to raise her family alone while living with HIV. With only occasional cleaning jobs, earning enough to provide for her children became an ongoing struggle.
Through Love INC Kenya, volunteers and a partner church connected Monica with a business opportunity that matched her skills and provided clothing as start-up capital. She launched a clothing business and later expanded into selling maize, creating multiple sources of income for her family.
Monica now runs two small businesses and remains connected to a community that continues to encourage her as she provides for her family.
