From Street Begging to Self-Reliance
Emily, a blind mother of three, relied on begging on the streets of Nairobi to provide for her family. Living with disability and poverty, she struggled to meet her family’s basic needs while dreamingof a better future for her children.
Through Love INC Kenya, volunteers and partner churches walked alongside Emily, helping restore stability to her family. They provided food assistance, covered school fees for her two sons, and connected her daughter with vocational training. When land was later donated to her, volunteers and supporters helped her pursue an opportunity to establish a water business, creating the foundation for a sustainable source of income.
Emily continues building toward financial independence while remaining connected to a community that believes in her family’s future.
